Change of management at Vion Adriaens

Boxtel, 23 December 2022. Jan Marcelis has been appointed to succeed Pascal de Clerck, who will leave Vion Adriaens. Vion Adriaens is part of Vion Food Group and located in the middle of the Flemish Ardennes in Zottegem (B). Since 1998, Jan Marcelis has held various management positions at Vion and is jointly responsible for the company’s beef cattle sites in Tilburg and Enschede as Cluster Director Beef for Western Europe.

“With the appointment of Jan Marcelis, we want to develop the collaboration between our European branches in our home markets. We also want the existing team at Vion Adriaens to perpetuate and deepen relationships with our suppliers for our customers. Our branch is located in an important and high-quality region in Western Europe for beef cattle,” says David De Camp, COO of the Business Unit Beef.

Vion has dozens of branches in Germany and the Netherlands and is an industry leader in building sustainable and regional supply chains between farmers and customers, such as: Good Farming Star, Robusto and organic supply chain De Groene Weg. Vion wants to offer customers and consumers greater choice in terms of price, regionality, origin and welfare, nutritional value and a fair earnings model.
